FCF has created a new department dedicated to bar turning, introducing an innovative and strategic production process for the automotive supply chain. The department is intended for the production of steering column shafts, critical components classified as safety parts, which require high precision and rigorous controls.
The investment includes latest-generation CNC lathes, automatic loading systems and in-process monitoring technologies that guarantee consistent quality, batch traceability and complete process reliability.
The project, developed with a focus on energy efficiency, waste reduction and flow optimisation, contributes to the company’s competitiveness and the development of new technical skills within the region.
This initiative, carried out with the support of the POS FESR, represents a step forward in FCF’s ability to offer high-tech products that meet the highest safety standards.
